David Michael Leverone, 77, of Niantic passed away on April 9, 2026.
He was born in New London, CT on April 26, 1949 to Mary O’Neil Leverone and Charles Leverone.
David graduated from New London High School in 1968 and went on to become part of the Local 24 Union of New London for more than 35 years as a Carpenter Millwright.
He is survived by his daughter Katelyn Leverone, his sister Donna Orefice, and his partner Sulma Silva. David was preceded in death by his brothers Paul (twin) and Peter Leverone.
David will be remembered for his great sense of humor, incredible storytelling, and infinite optimism. He will be deeply missed.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
