George Biathrow, 61, passed away on March 16, 2022 after a brief illness. George was a hard worker and spent over 40 years in the roofing industry. He loved the Miami Dolphins, a good game of Scrabble, a hand of Poker or a Chess match. Over anything else though, he loved spending time with his grandson Anthony, who was his best friend and the absolute light of his life. He will be missed by all of his ‘brothers’ who he grew up with in Holyoke and shared the football field with. George is pre-deceased by his son Luke and survived by his wife Michele, his children Odessa, Vanessa and Eric, and his sisters Brenda Allen, Cheryl Biathrow, Lucy Morales and Darlene Pacheco. There will be a barbecue to celebrate George this summer with his friends and family. In memory of George, donations can be made to The Friends of the Homeless, which was an organization he donated to often.

Still in shock,
George, I never told you , but you were my rock after my husband (pops) passed away. I'll never forget how you & your wife Michelle came for Thanksgiving dinner for a couple years after pops passed away. Even when your wife went off to the casino you stayed & watched the football game with me. Of course it was the Dolphins v Cowboys (pops). Team. I was forever greatful to you and Michelle for being there for me. God bless & rest pain free in peace 🙏
George,
From the very first time I had came to visit, you welcomed me with open arms. You accepted into the family from that day on and didn’t look back, and I am grateful. Thank you for the memories that I will cherish a lifetime. you are no longer in pain, it’s like you are a brand new man. Keep watching over all of us down here.
