Karen Elizabeth (Cleroux) Alvarez, 63, passed away on March 30, 2024 at 1:15pm at Waterbury Hospital after a long illness. She graduated from Mercy High school in Middletown in 1978. Karen enjoyed crocheting and crafts. Karen leaves behind two sisters, Darlene Korzon of Berlin, Ct and Julie Cleroux of East Hartford, Ct. Karen also leaves her daughter Georgina Alvarez-Smith behind and was predeceased by her Daughter Elizabeth Alvarez-James. Karen was also predeceased by her husband Wilson Alvarez and her mother Elizabeth Cleroux. Karen also leaves behind 8 beautiful grandchildren.
There are no calling hours and burial is private and at the convenience of family.
