Maryanne Volpe was born on September 1, 1957, and passed away peacefully on April 20, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was 68 years old.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Maryanne was the only daughter of the late Robert and Eleanor Masucci. She was a devoted mother, a loving partner, and someone who truly lit up every room she walked into. She spent many years as a stay at home mom while also working in the insurance field, always putting her family first in everything she did.
Maryanne had a way of talking to anyone and everyone, never afraid to speak her mind and always leaving people smiling. Her personality was unforgettable, real, unfiltered, and filled with love. She found happiness in the moments that mattered most: cooking and baking for her family, tending to her garden, traveling with loved ones, and especially enjoying her frequent trips to Atlantic City and Foxwoods casino. Those memories will live on in every meal shared, every laugh had, and every gathering where her presence is deeply missed.
Maryanne is survived by her beloved partner, Gail Suiter her loving sons, Dominick Volpe and his wife Gabrielle, and Anthony Volpe; her cherished grandson, Jason Volpe; her brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Marcie Masucci; as well as three nephews, two nieces, two grand-nephews, and one grand-niece. She was loved deeply by many dear friends and relatives.
Maryanne will be fondly remembered for her strength, her unwavering spirit, and her wonderful sense of humor, which brought joy to all who knew her. Her love, warmth, and the way she brought people together will never be forgotten.
Family and friends are welcome to gather for a Mass of Remembrance at St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church, 101 Cromwell Avenue, Staten Island, NY 10304, on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. A prayer service at Resurrection Cemetery will follow after the church service as Maryanne is laid to rest with her beloved parents.
