Theresa M. (Wilcox) Drivdahl

Theresa M. (Wilcox) Drivdahl, 64, passed away peacefully at home on June 12,2023 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the wife of Eric Drivdahl and daughter of the late William H. and Jeanne Wilcox.


Theresa grew up in Winsted, graduating from St. Anthony’s School and Gilbert High School. A long time Girl Scout, she earned her 1st class scout badge. She was well known for her gymnastics and basketball ability in high school. She also learned American Sign Language (ASL) and worked summers as the head of waterfront at Camp Isola Bella, a camp for deaf children, while in college.


She received her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Elms College. She was a long time employee of Waring Products going from Head of Logistics as “Terry Traffic” to finishing her career as the Customer Service Manager for Waring’s commercial line.


Terry’s sense of humor was enjoyed by all around her. She loved to travel with her childhood friends known as “the Ya-Ya’s”. She also enjoyed gardening, shopping, and reading.


Besides her loving husband Eric, she leaves a son Alex of Winsted, siblings Kathie Curtis of Vernon, Michael (Linda) Wilcox of Canton, David Wilcox, and Debbie Daley of Winsted and Donna (Kevin) Edwards of Pittsburgh, PA, as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by a sister Mary Lou Lavoie and sister-in-law Mary Wilcox.

I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of Terry. As well as a classmate at Gilbert High School Class of 1977, she worked with my mother, Anne, at Warning Products for many years. To the Ya-Ya group, my deepest condolences for your loss of a dear friend of this close group of exceptional women. May she rest in peace.
