Algird A. Sholes

Algird A. Sholes, of Manchester, CT, passed away on December 14, 2025 at Woodlake of Tolland.  The son of Anthony Sholes and Anne (Bochinsky Sholes) Storrs, Algird was born on January 6, 1928 in Hartford, CT.  In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Vytautas Sholes. Algird served in the US Navy and went on to work for Fordham Distributors for many years.

He is survived by his nephew Martin (Kathy) Sholes of Mansfield and nieces Geraldine (Michael) Ranfone of Branford and Ann Sholes of North Carolina, as well as numerous great nieces and nephews and close friends.

A private burial service will be held by the family at their convenience.
