Alice Christine Marcoux, 80, passed away on December 12, 2025, in Willimantic, Connecticut. Born on August 31, 1945, in the United States, Alice embraced life with a vibrant spirit and infectious joy that left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

Alice was known for her sharp wit and candid humor—traits that brought laughter and light to every room she entered. Her honesty and warmth endeared her to many, creating deep bonds of friendship and affection throughout her life.


In her younger years, Alice proudly participated in the Special Olympics, where she competed in Bocce and bowling. Her creative energy found expression through painting, writing, and crafting—activities she cherished deeply. These passions continued to flourish as she became part of a retirement program that enriched her days with new friendships and meaningful connections.


It was through this community that Alice met Mark, her beloved partner. Their relationship blossomed into a joyful union celebrated with a heartfelt ceremony over the summer—a testament to their shared love and companionship.


Alice had a tender heart for animals and especially loved her cat, Whiskers. She was closest with her oldest and dearest friend, Kathy Reinholtz. She also built close relationships with her housemates and support staff over the years—connections rooted in mutual respect, laughter, and everyday joys. At her day program, Alice’s social nature shone brightly; she played an active role in organizing gatherings and was widely admired for her leadership and enthusiasm.


Among those closest to her is her oldest and dearest friend, Kathy Reinholtz. Deep gratitude is extended to Network Incorporated and Baroco Corporation for their unwavering support in helping Alice live a life filled with independence, creativity, friendship, and love.


A celebration of Life will be held at a later date. May the memory of Alice Christine Marcoux continue to bring joy and comfort to all who were fortunate to know her.
