Andrew Frank Hjarne

March 4, 1955 - May 22, 2025

Andrew F. Hjarne, 70 of Manchester CT, passed away peacefully on May 22, 2025 after a long illness. Andrew was predeceased by his parents, Stanley and Elsie Hjarne of South Windsor.

Andrew was a U.S Army veteran and spent his career as a drill press operator and a furniture mover. He lived a modest life but was willing to share what he had with others in need of a meal, a place to stay, and as a companion. He enjoyed fishing and the outdoors.

Andrew is survived by his sisters Sheila McIntosh and her husband John, Pauline Hjarne, and his brother Peter Hjarne and his wife Liz. Andrew leaves three nephews Brett McIntosh, Devon and Nathan Ranney. Andrew also leaves behind a devoted friend Jen Lee.
