My father was born on May 3,1972 in Poland to Maria and Andrzej Dajnowicz. They both immigrated to Alaska bringing their son. They resided in Alaska for a few years. Then they moved to Connecticut in the early 80s. My father never talked about his childhood years since he said he moved around a lot. Fast forward to 1987 he started freshman year of high school at Oliver Wolcott technical high school. There he said his journey began from getting varsity in soccer as a freshman to playing basketball to playing football. He made a lot of friends his first year and he progressively made more friends throughout his 4 years there. He transferred to Newport beach high school in California only for one year then he transferred back. Junior year came around and he became increasingly popular due to him nailing the sports he played from scoring goals and scoring baskets on the last second of the clock. In 1991 he graduated. He started hanging out with my mom at the volleyball court outside of Torrington high school in 1990.They hit off instantly they stuck around for quite sometime. Fast forward to 1997 they got married one year before in 1996 my oldest brother was born and in 1999 my sister was born and last but not least I was born in 2002. My dads mom passed away when I was just born and then his dad passed away in 2020 due to covid. My father was a good man. He had some faults but that's because we are human and not robots. His personality was strong, he kept his head up high and set standards for all of us. His life will always be memorable and I will never forget him at 24 years old. I would never have thought to have to cremate him. I always thought he would live to see me get married or hold his grandson. He was ripped out of life way too quickly. I wish I had the power to give a second chance in life so that way I could have around and in my life until both of us grow old together. But as right now may my father rest in peace and for his soul to descend up to heaven to reunite with his parents. I love you dad and i will always keep you in my heart.
YOUR SON- Dariusz Dy-Dajnwoicz
