Ann DiCicco, 75, of Guilford, Connecticut, passed away peacefully on October 10, 2025.
Born on February 9, 1950, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Ann was the daughter of Frederick and Sarah Wright. She built a life defined by love, kindness, and devotion to her family and friends.
Ann shared 28 wonderful years with her soulmate and loving husband, Bill, and they are now reunited once again. Together, Ann and Bill created a home filled with warmth, humor and a lot of pets. They were convinced to buy a pony, which expanded over time to include a few horses, several cats, dogs, rabbits and geese that never flew south.
She was the proud mother of three daughters: Kirsten Winter (Barry) of Olympia, WA; Lindsay Buonomano (David) of Holliston, MA; and Allison Berlin (David) of Guilford, CT. She was also the beloved “Mimi” to her cherished grandchildren — Inara, Audrey, Julia, Miller, and Harvey — who brought her endless joy and pride.
Ann is survived by her two siblings, Sara Yurman of Setúbal, Portugal, and Haviland Wright of Princeville, Hawaii, who shared a lifetime of memories and laughter with her.
Ann worked for many years as a real estate paralegal and was highly respected in her field. Beyond her professional life, her true passions were in her roles as a mother, gardener, baker, tennis player, home renovator, and loyal friend. She was a “girl’s girl” who taught her daughters the value of a day of shopping, nails, and lunch; her blend of warmth, gentle determination and creativity was felt by everyone who was lucky enough to have known her.
A celebration of Ann’s life will be held on October 25th at 11am in Guilford, CT at the First Congregational Church. Flowers are welcome as a memory of Ann’s love of gardening, or donations may be made to the Hole in the Wall Gang where she poured her love of animals and helping others into countless hours of volunteer work.
