Ann M. Laurino 1936-2022

Ann M. Laurino, 85, of Waterbury, beloved wife of the late John J Laurino, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2022.


Ann was born May 16, 1936 to the late Angelo (Alphonso) Marciano and the late Antionette (Famiglietti) Marciano.


Ann attended Wilby High school in Waterbury, was employed by Liberty Mutual Insurance Company, and after marrying the love of her life, settled into the career of stay at home mother and nurturing caregiver to her precious grandchildren.


Ann was an avid gardener and spent countless hours working in her flower garden which was truly a masterpiece. Ann delighted in baking her sought after Italian cookies as holiday treats for family and friends.


Ann is survived by her daughter, Barbara Carlson and husband Steve, son Peter Laurino, granddaughter Melanie LaRiviere, grandson Stephen Carlson, sister Virginia Nardozzi and twin brother, Anthony Marciano and his wife Barbara(Turonis)Marciano

along with several nieces and nephews.


Ann was predeceased by her beloved husband, John J Laurino, her true Prince Charming; brother James Marciano Sr, and his wife Mary Louise (Gorman) Marciano;

Brother in law Robert Nardozzi; nieces Lynn Nardozzi and Patti (Marciano) Girardi and daughter in law Stacy (Hillman) Laurino.


There will be no calling hours and burial will be at the convenience of the family.

A gathering of family and friends to celebrate Ann's life will be held on Tuesday January 25, 2022 at 12pm at Verdi at Western Hills, 660 Park Road in Waterbury.
