Anthony Lupinacci

Tony Lupinacci of Lebanon, CT and Hobe Sound, FL passed unexpectedly on to “the beautiful world on the other side” on July 25, 2025.

Born in Westerly, R.I., to Anthony G. Lupinacci and Rose Morrone Lupinacci on March 15, 1947. He leaves in Love, his beloved wife Donna Lupinacci, his son Anthony (Rebecca Moscaritolo) Lupinacci, Caleb, Mya and Landon of Westerly, R.I., Sarah Lupinacci of Stuart, FL and Rebecca (Chris Bellucci) Badger and Forrest, Hazel and Juniper of East Hampton, CT as well as sisters Lucille (Jim Lewis) Lupinacci, Carol (Paul) Jutkiewicz, and brother Michael (Kathy) Lupinacci many nieces and nephews as well as numerous friends from his lake community in Lebanon and in Hobe Sound, FL and the worldwide community of Eckankar where he is the president of the Temple of ECK in Middlefield, CT. His gentle ear scratches will also be missed by his loyal pups, Indy and Gracie and his grand-dogs. 

Tony was a Clergy in Eckankar and a public speaker sharing his stories of his experiences in life that brought him closer to GOD. He volunteered in all his communities and actually helped build the physical Temple of ECK in the early 2000s. He also volunteered for hospice and for meals on wheels, after his retirement from Electric Boat in 2011; dedicating 38 years to the company. 

He enjoyed many years of being a snowbird and trading his snow shovel for a beach chair. Florida ‘looked good on him’ and he slowed down to embrace reading, card games and drives to the ocean as well as working on a book he was writing. 

Tony is loved by so many people and his love reached out beyond what anyone realized … Donna is learning that from the overwhelming outreach of people from near and far. He would ask that in lieu of material things, that you each lead with love and kindness and ‘pay it forward’. 

A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
