Anthony Urs Marti passed away on September 29th peacefully in Hartford CT surrounded by loved ones.
He was born on March 26, 1953 in Monterey, CA to Elsi and Anthony Marti. He is survived by his wife Ola Marti (nee Adedeji), son Michael Marti, sisters Heidi Boraiza and Margaret Kooshkalis, their spouses, and children. Tony had a taste for exciting things that others might have thought dangerous if not for his skill and athletic ability that kept him safe, such as jumping into the ocean during a hurricane. He was known for being in the moment and enjoying the simple things in life. His love for photography paired perfectly with his love for travel and he cherished sharing the memories with family and friends through his pictures after returning home. Some great memories with Tony include spending Swiss Christmas at his house and ice skating on the pond in the backyard. He never complained about what was given to him and he truly enjoyed everything that life had to offer.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association.
