Antoinette "Toni" O’Connor (Grasso)

1945-2025

Antoinette “Toni” O’Connor (Grasso), 79, of Old Lyme, CT and formerly Wethersfield, CT passed away on February 10, 2025, at Masonicare in Wallingford, Connecticut.  

Born on May 27, 1945, in Hartford, Connecticut, Toni lived a life filled with love and resilience. She faced life’s challenges with strength and dignity including a courageous battle with Parkinson’s disease.  

Toni was the devoted and beloved spouse of the late Cornelius “Neil” O’Connor and was predeceased by their son Patrick O’Connor and granddaughter Isabella O’Connor. She is survived by her loving son, John O’Connor; her cherished  granddaughters Kaylee O’Connor and Erica O’Connor, along with their mother, Dena O’Connor.  

Known affectionately as "Grammie," Toni found the most joy living by the beach in Old Lyme. Weekends spent with her grandchildren—and later their friends—became cherished traditions filled with beach days, golf cart rides, dinners out, and simple outings for ice cream. These moments created a lifetime of treasured memories for all who shared them with her.  

Toni “Grammie” will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all that knew her. She is now reunited with her husband and son. May her memory bring comfort to those who knew her.
