Bernadette Josephine Perry, 73 of Naugatuck, CT passed away peacefully and radiantly at her home on August 3, 2020, with her family by her side. She was born November 14, 1946 in Rutland, VT to Dominic and Bernadette (Grenier) Corsi.
Bernadette was always full of life and a genuine spitfire who overcame many obstacles in her life. She was a two time cancer survivor with a never give up attitude; that of which she passed on to her daughters and grandchildren. Her family was her life and she instilled in them her love of animals, gardening, the ocean, and an unsurpassed work ethic. All of these things they will be forever grateful for. She was a long time employee of Ketchum drug and worked as a CNA most of her life; but her most important job was raising her daughters.
She is survived by her 3 daughters: Michele Hackett and her husband Harold of Beckett, MA, Rafaelle Perry of Waterbury, CT, Amber Fernandes of New Britain, CT; her 2 precious grandchildren Kyle and Jeremy Hackett of Prospect, CT; 6 siblings: Peter Corsi, Gary Corsi, Deborah Bartlett of VT, Louise Jackson of RI, Donna St. Jacques of NH, and Anthony Corsi of Waterbury, CT; her Best Friend and cat ‘Pieper’ of Naugatuck, CT; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers Nicholas Corsi and Joseph Corsi; her sisters Dominica Withington and Maryann Chandler.
Bernadette’s beautiful smile, sense of humor, feistiness, creative vocabulary, and her love of animals and family will never be forgotten.
The family will hold a private memorial at a later date.
