It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

Bernard (Bernie) Anthony Grapski was born on October 2, 1941 in Milford, Connecticut. He passed peacefully of natural causes on August 15, 2026 with his loving wife Joan at his side. For 63 wonderful years, he was the devoted husband and best friend of his beloved wife, Joan. Their life together was built on love, family, hard work, and countless memories. Through all of life’s seasons, Joan remained faithfully by his side. Their 63 years together stand as a beautiful testament to a lifelong love and unwavering commitment.

He was a hardworking man who took great pride in providing for and caring for his family. He was a Construction Administrator who worked for many years at Malifronti & Kasperak Mechanical Engineering firm. Talented and capable, he was truly a “Jack of all trades.” There was very little he could not fix, build, repair, or figure out. Whether working with his hands, helping a family member, or taking on a new project, he could always be counted on. His determination, ingenuity, and willingness to lend a helping hand were just a few of the qualities that made him so special.

Above all, family was his greatest accomplishment and deepest joy. He loved his four children deeply—Greg Grapski (preceded in death), Kimberly Grapski and spouse Lynn Stone, Michael Grapski and spouse Veronica Grapski, and Matt Grapski (preceded in death) and spouse Linda Grapski. He took immense pride in each of them. His love, guidance, and support shaped their lives in countless ways and will continue to live on through them.He was a loving grandfather to Mikey Grapski and spouse Jillian, Luke Allen and spouse Katrina, Lauren Muldoon and spouse Tim, and Emily Allen. He treasured the special bond he shared with each of them. His love only grew stronger with the arrival of his great-grandchildren—Christopher, Landon, Mikaela, Railynn, and CJ—who brought him immense joy. They gave him yet another generation to love, teach, and spoil.

Bernie loved spending time on the Connecticut River, especially boating with his family and making memories together. He had a deep appreciation for military history and enjoyed reading auto magazines.

He held a special place in his heart for Camp Bethel, where so many wonderful memories were made. Most of all, Bernie cherished the time he spent with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They brought him tremendous joy, and he treasured every moment with them.

Bernie’s walk with God was an important and deeply meaningful part of his life. His faith provided him with strength, comfort, and guidance throughout his life, and it remained close to his heart.

Bernie will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his many talents, his generosity, and his wonderful sense of humor. Most of all, he will be remembered for the deep love he had for his family and the Lord. He had a true servant’s heart and spent much of his life serving others in countless ways.

Bernie dedicated many years to serving at Camp Bethel, where he served as president of the association and was chair or co-chair of the Buildings and Grounds Committee for 20 years. He also served for nine years on the Board of Directors of Pivot Ministries and volunteered with Horizon Ministry for more than 22 years. His commitment to serving others extended beyond his local community as well. Bernie participated in multiple mission trips to Venezuela with his church, serving others and sharing his faith along the way.

His willingness to give his time, talents, and energy to others was a reflection of the faith he carried throughout his life. Bernie didn't simply talk about serving others—he lived it. His generosity and faithful service touched many lives and left a lasting impact on the communities and ministries he was part of.

Bernie was a presence was a steady and comforting force in their lives, and his absence will be profoundly felt.

Although he is no longer with us, his legacy lives on. The lessons he taught, the things he built, the stories he shared, and the love he gave will continue through Joan, his children, his grandchildren, his great-grandchildren, and all the generations to follow.

He leaves behind a family who loved him deeply and will miss him more than words can ever express.

Rest peacefully. Your work here is done, but your love and legacy will remain with us forever.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Camp Bethel in memory of Bernard Grapski.

When Linda and I first visited Camp Bethel at the invitation of Mary & Garrett, Bernie saw our RV in the campground. He came up to welcome us to Camp Bethel. I still appreciate his hospitality.

When someone asked me where to find information about thrill app, I’d suggest starting with the actual game catalogue and reading the details for each title. My experience was mostly positive because there’s a good mix of formats. I noticed modern video games, traditional three-reel options, progressive jackpots, Megaways mechanics and mythology-inspired themes. The filtering tools were particularly useful because I could narrow things down according to the type of gameplay and volatility I preferred. Visually, everything looked sharp, and I had no major issues switching between desktop and mobile. I wouldn’t rely on marketing descriptions alone, though. I always check the stated RTP, rules, developer information and RNG details before trying a new title. That gives a much clearer…
