Beverly D'Angelo Sperry 1941-2020

Beverly D'Angelo Sperry, resident of Meriden, passed on Dec. 7, 2020 at Midstate Medical Hospital after courageously battling Cancer and CoVid. She was 79 years old.


Beverly is survived by her children, LeeAnn Snedeker, Kim Dame, Lee Sperry Jr, and his wife Lisa Barbiuto Sperry, 10 grandchildren one great grandchild, her brother Jerry D'Angelo, her sister's Terry D'Angelo Turner and Mary Ann D'Angelo Schmidt. And several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband Lee Sperry, Sr and her daughter Dawn Sperry Moran.


Beverly was born in Southington to Joseph D'Angelo and Margaret Capocci. She was a member of the Ya Ya Sisters, a past member of the VFW in Yalesville, Elks Lodge #35, and the AOH in Meriden. She owned and operated Gem Engravers for many years then went on to Midstate Medical Hospital as a Receptionist/Greeter.


Beverly was a pillar of the community, always helping and encouraging others.


We'd like to give a big thanks to Midstate Medical Oncology Dept., Radiation Dept., and Pavillion C for their great care given to her during her battle of both Cancer and CoVid.


There will be a private mass scheduled for family only. In lieu of flowers, you can make donations to her favorite charity The Heart Association, 5 Brookside Dr., Wallingford, CT 06492.
