Beverly VanWagner

Beverly “Bev” VanWagner (Howell), 68, of Litchfield, Connecticut, daughter of the late Clarence and Eileen Howell, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2026. Born in Newfoundland, Canada, Bev brought warmth and kindness to all who knew her throughout her life.

Bev cherished spending time with her children, playing games and spending quality time with her grandchildren. She had a heart of gold and would help anyone in any way she could. With her playful jokes and her infectious laugh, she would light up the room and put an instant smile on your face. Whoever was lucky enough to be in her life was blessed to have been a part of it.

Bev leaves behind her son, Danny; her daughter, Sherry; her husband, Alex; and their children, Jacob, Lilyana, and Chelsea; as well as her daughter, Tiffany, and her children, Cameron and Julian. Brother David and his wife Barbara, and sister Daphne and her husband Donald, as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, her two sisters, Deborah and Marlene, and her beloved companion Sophie.

Bev touched so many lives and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

In keeping with Bev’s wishes, we will not be doing a traditional service. The family will be holding a small private intimate gathering instead. The family appreciates your thoughts, prayers and privacy during this time.
