Bruce was born in Hartford, Ct. to Bruce C. Robinson and Nancy A. Robinson on March 10th, 1961 at Hartford Hospital. He grew up in the south end of Hartford and attended Bulkeley High School. Bruce joined the Marine Corp and served in Beirut. Bruce was proud of his service and continued to wear his hair high and tight throughout his adult life. He was also proud of the motto he often repeated “Once a Marine, always a Marine”. Bruce worked in the Produce Industry for over 30 years starting and learning this trade at Cost Plus in Hartford. He also worked in the Produce Department at Bozzuto’s, Inc. in Cheshire, Ct for several years. He spent time working for Coast to Coast Produce in Cheshire and Thurston Foods in Wallingford. His most recent work was at Fish Window Cleaning as a valued professional window cleaner, a trade he had learned during in his early years in Hartford.

Bruce was an avid Fisherman, owning several boats in his lifetime and spending much time out on the water- always willing to tell the stories of how his grandfather taught him to fish when he was young. Bruce loved to Golf and was out on the course with his friends as often as possible, always hoping for that ever illusive “hole in one”. He loved all sports, always offering his opinion on his picks for your fantasy football league. He rooted for the Whalers, the Raiders and unfortunately the Yankees. Bruce is predeceased by so many, too many, family, loved ones, and friends all whom he closely cherished.

Bruce is survived by his partner of 20 years Sara Armstrong, his sons Bruce P., Peter E., and Cody C. Robinson and their mother Jody Dounouk. His brother Mark and his wife Diana, his brother Eric and his wife Sheila and their daughters Mikayla and Jordyn Robinson.
