Carmine "Bruno" Buono, 78, of Unionville, CT passed away on Wednesday, March 17th, 2021.
Preceded in death by his Father Antonio Buono, Mother Alberina D'Apolito-Buono, Grandson Tyler Anthony Daigle, Son Frederick Allen Manka and nephew Joseph Fragione.
Carmine was born and raised in Avellino, Italy and moved with his family to the United States in 1966. As an enthusiastic young man, Carmine brought the skills he learned as a teenager in Italy to CT to seek new opportunities and continue a career in Autobody repair. A proud entrepreneur, Carmine owned and operated his Auto Body shop for many years. he retired in 2009 and spent the rest of his years enjoying his favorite hobbies. He loved fishing, especially in Old Saybrook. Going the horse races in Belmont and Saratoga, New York. And traveling around the country with his family. He was a wonderful, funny and hard working man. As a dedicated and loving father, Carmine always prioritized every special event for all his children and grandchildren. His family was most important to him.
Carmine leaves behind six children, Tony, Carmella, Diane, Denise, Jerry, Dave who will miss him dearly. He also leaves behind 15 grandchildren. His sister Pasqualina Buono Fragione and longtime friend Louie Presta.
Due to the circumstances, we will not be holding services for the public.
