Carol Ann Young

December 19,1945 - August 6,2026

Carol Young, age 80, of Newington, CT passed away Thursday, August 6 after a brief battle with lung cancer. Carol was born in Brooklyn, NY to Paul and Alice Raab Young. She was the eldest of 4 children, Ginni, Paul and Tina.

Carol attended St Augustine School, Holy Trinity High School and Central Connecticut State University. Carol built and managed teams in the retail business. Carol found joy with her cats, her endless love of reading, and spending time with family and friends. Those who knew Carol were touched by her thoughtfulness, love and honesty. She never missed a birthday or anniversary and was always there if you needed her.

Carol is survived by her sister Ginni Cardoso and her husband Jeff of Charlton, MA, her sister Tina Young of Stafford Springs, CT, her brother Paul Young and his wife Doreen of South Glastonbury, CT,  Her niece and nephews - Dan Young and his wife Olivia of Palmerton, PA, David Young of Bradford, VT, Samantha D’Angelo and her husband Jeffrey De La Cruz and their son Julian of Lawrence, MA, Scott Jeskey and his wife Teddi and their daughter Alice of Marlton, New Jersey, Kevin Jeskey and his partner Angela Davis of Stafford Springs, CT and Craig Jeskey and his wife Christine Dufour of Cheshire, CT.
