Carol R. Christiansen, 73, of Pigeon Swamp Road, Lebanon, CT, died peacefully after a long illness on July 7. She was the daughter of Carl and Wanda Christiansen of New Britain, CT. She is survived by her beloved son, Joseph, and her sisters, Loretta and Cathy. Carol was predeceased by her sister, Ellen.
Carol was a 1969 graduate of Pulaski High School in New Britain, CT. She worked as a librarian and an insurance agent in New Britain before moving to Coventry and then to Lebanon, CT. Carol was a partner in a land surveying business in eastern CT for about 20 years. She specialized in both fieldwork and became an expert in complicated deed research.
Carol passionately enjoyed shopping of all types, spending time in nature, planting flowers, and taking walks with her son, Joseph, and dogs, Sherra and Andy. Private services will be held in New Britain, CT. Donations made to the American Cancer Society are appreciated.
