Christian Jay Gould, 30, of Middletown, passed away on Wednesday, July 13th. Christian spent most of his life living in Portland before moving to Middletown. He graduated from Xavier High School in 2010. Christian was certified as an ultrasonic testing inspector and previously worked at TEAMS in Berlin and GKN in Cromwell. Christian was an Eagle Scout and loved the outdoors. He spent time fishing and enjoying state parks. Christian practiced Karate and was also an Amatuer Radio enthusiast. However, his greatest love was his children. One of Christian's greatest gifts was his acceptance of people from all walks of life.
Christian is preceded by his grandmother, Jessie Gould of Middletown; his aunt, Judy Onorati of Ft. White, FL; his uncle, Clarence (JR) Gould, Jr. of Portland; his uncle and godfather, Amedeo (Butch) Negrelli; and his daughter Liliana Mae Gould. Survivors include his father, Jay Gould of Middletown; his mother and stepfather, Wendy and Lou Vinci of Chaplin; his sister, Caitlin Gould of Old Saybrook; his step-sister, Samantha Parker of Meriden; his paternal grandfather, Clarence Gould of New Berlin, New York; his maternal grandparents, Valentino and Bernadette Pattavina of Middletown; his son Kayden Jay Gauthier of Enfield; his daughter Zeplyn Rae Gould of Colchester, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family also survive.
A memorial service will be held for Christian on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Oasis of Life Christian Church, Rocky Hill, CT.
