After a difficult battle with cancer, Christine Elizabeth O’Driscoll passed away peacefully on
December 6 surrounded by her loved ones.
Christine was born on November 5, 1968, to Don and Barbara Domizio. After graduating from New Britain High School with honors in 1986, Christine married John O’Driscoll and together they went on to have their son John O’Driscoll Jr. Ultimately, she spent the majority of her life with Albert Homar of whom she raised a beautiful daughter named Amy Homar and bold son named Joshua Homar. After the unexpected death of her lifetime companion, Albert on December 21, 2020 she was affected dearly. In her final days Christine took solace in the thought of their eternal reunion.
Christine was a fiercely tenacious, independent mother, raising her three equally strong and
unique children. Her flaring personality and sense of humor never wavered throughout her life's trials and tribulations. She thrived in hosting family gatherings and bringing life to every room she entered.
In addition to her children John and his wife Danielle, Josh, and Amy “Muffin”, grandchildren
John and Troy; Christine is survived by her loving sister Mary Miano and her husband Johnny, her brothers Donald and his girlfriend Mary and David “Duke” and his wife Annette; her nieces Christina, Leslie, and Vicky; her nephews Tommy and Nick; her dear friends Maryanne, Ann Russo, Louis Nissirios and Radu “Teddy” Olaru; and beloved dogs “Butterfly” and “Fat Boy”.
Friends are invited to say a final goodbye to Christine at St. Ann's Church in New Britain, CT on a future mass to be determined.
