March 3, 1947 – December 4, 2025
Christopher Noblet, 78, formerly of Hingham, MA, Calabasas, CA, and Chester, CT, passed away peacefully on December 4, 2025, at 7:40 a.m., surrounded by loved ones.
Born on March 3, 1947, in Preston, England, Chris was the sixth of fourteen children, growing up with nine brothers and four sisters. An avid reader from an early age, he could often be found with “his nose in a book,” or playing cricket with a local team during his youth. He later attended the University of Oxford, where he studied languages and rowed on the crew team. His studies took him to Lyon, France, for a year, an experience that sparked a deep love of travel.
Chris went on to build a distinguished career in Sales and Marketing, one that allowed
him to travel the world. A man of wide-ranging interests and talents, Chris loved music
and played both the piano and clarinet. He was known for his quick wit, sharp mind, and
wonderful sense of humor, which he shared generously with everyone around him.
He leaves behind Jennifer Noblet, and two devoted daughters: Jane Warner and her
husband Jim of Clinton, MA, and Sarah Faucher and her husband Dean of Centerbrook,
CT. Chris was a proud and adoring grandfather to his six grandchildren—Joshua,
Christopher, Hannah, Kieran, Cameron, and Logan—who brought immense joy into his
life.
Chris is reunited with his beloved son, Benjamin, who predeceased him in 2011, as well
as with many cherished family members who passed before him.
In keeping with his wishes, Chris will be cremated. The family will hold a private
memorial at a later date, and no formal services are planned.
In lieu of flowers, please consider honoring Chris’s memory by supporting the fight
against Alzheimer’s disease with a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association:
