Big Dan was a gentle giant and someone everyone took to immediately. He was unassuming, generous, and "salt of the earth". He will be fondly remembered by those of us who knew him at the New England Air Museum. I am sorry for your loss but at the same time happy that his suffering was relatively short. I know you have many, many happy memories to help you adjust to your future without his presence. Janyce Wininger
