David A. Owens

David A Owens, 72, passed away peacefully on July 15th 2025 at Manchester memorial hospital in Manchester CT. Born Sept 1st 1952 in Worcester MA to Alice Owens and Tracy Owens. He was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan always watching a game on TV. He worked in Webster Ma at Cranston print, Anglo's Fabric and Steven's linen. He moved to Thompson CT in 1995 where he lived until his passing. He is survived by a son Jeff Owens and his fiancee Ashley Ortiz of Thompson CT, a step-daughter Lisa Skeens of Hartford CT, his ex-wife Regina Owens of Putnam CT, brothers Kevin Owens(Bonnie) of Putnam CT. Chester(Martha) of Marlborough MA, Ronald Owens of Webster MA, George Slingo of Webster MA and Fred(Aster) Slingo of East Hampton CT, sisters Helen Heacox of Williston FL and Karen Owens, his grandchildren Haleigh, Tyler, Jasmine, Julissa, Alexandra, and Jada. He also had many nieces, nephews and cousins. He is predeceased by his parents and siblings Barbara Salvadore of NJ, Edwards Owens of MA and James Owens of MA. A celebration of life will be held Saturday August 23rd 2025 from 3pm-6pm in Putnam CT at the VFW located at 207 Providence St Putnam CT 06260.
