David Albert Parsons

David “Dave” Albert Parsons, 71, passed away peacefully on April 18, 2026 in Middletown, Connecticut, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on June 5, 1954, in Middletown, he was the son of the late Albert and Lillian (Beckwith) Parsons.  Dave dedicated 25 years of his life as a tractor-trailer driver and also worked as a school bus driver over the years. A role that reflected his dependable and caring nature.

Dave was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who deeply valued his family.  He is survived by his beloved wife, Christine (Bayor) Parsons; his son, Matthew Parsons and his wife Amanda; his daughter, Michele Parsons and her significant other Anthony Bianca.  He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren, Janelle Dingus, Christopher Allen Jr., Makenna, Blake and Elodie Mae Parsons, and Hunter, Kira, Rylee, and Callen Bianca; as well as his great-grandchildren, Asher, Nolan, Colton, and Autumn Beimler.  

He was preceded in death by his daughter Melissa Parsons, and his sister Sadie Mather.

A Celebration of Life will be held on May 31, 2026 from 12 pm to 4 pm at the Old Saybrook VFW.
