David H Johnson of Stafford Springs passed away on February 3,2024 at age 87. David grew up in West Hartford and had a successful career in the accounting field working at Travelers Insurance and The Hartford Insurance.
David is predeceased by his parents Ruth and Carl Johnson and survived by his brother Charles Johnson of Tariffiville and his children, Eric Johnson (Laurel Greenwood) of Sarasota FL, Lisa Marshall (Steven) of MA, Peter Johnson, Jeffery Johnson both of Stafford Springs CT. He also leaves behind his Grandchildren, Allison, Denise, Eric Jr, Steven and Colton.
David was known for his resounding baritone voice and sense of humor. He actively participated in the Hartford Men's Chorus and various Congregational church choirs. David had many hobbies included, ham radio clubs, fishing, restoring antique cars and sailing.
David attended the Second Congregational Church of West Stafford Springs. A graveside service will be held in the spring to honor and remember David.
