Deborah Jane Revoir (March 17, 1953 – August 23, 2025) passed away peacefully after a short battle with lung cancer. Born and raised in Wallingford, she was a 1971 graduate of Lyman Hall High School. A jack of all trades who followed many career paths, she spent the later part of her life as a homemaker and caretaker for the many cats who found refuge in her home.
Debbie will be remembered for her love of Pepsi, Hostess cupcakes, and Star magazine. She loved traveling, especially visiting Lake Saint Catherine in Poultney, Vermont.
She is survived by her husband of nearly 40 years, Edward G. Salamaj of Meriden; her daughter, Casey; son-in-law, Frank; and grandsons, Jack and Danny LaMonaca of Cheshire. Her family were the pride and joy of her life, and she loved playing board games, doing crafts, and spending time with them. She always had a front-row seat to Casey and Danny’s shows.
Additionally, she is survived by her brothers, Charles Revoir (Susan) of Bristol and David Revoir (Eileen) of Wallingford; her brother-in-law, Edmond Reynolds of Georgia; and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Nancy Revoir (Carroll); her beloved sister, Bonita “Bonnie” Reynolds of Georgia; many aunts and uncles; and her lifelong best friend and partner in crime, Elaine Sanborn.
Prayer intentions will be offered for Debbie at Most Holy Trinity Church in Wallingford on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at the 4:00 P.M. Mass.
