Denis Edward Bailey, 65, passed away August 27, 2023, with his loving wife, Rena (Pinette) Bailey and daughter, Angelle Bailey, by his side. Denis was born, February 2, 1958, to the late Edward and Jeanne Bailey.
Denis served in the United States Marine Corps and was a proud veteran. He was a member of the American Legion and the Commander of The Veteran’s Service office in Torrington, CT. He enjoyed volunteering his time to many organizations, such as Wreath’s Across America and Toys for Tots.
Denis was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson, deep-sea fishing, bird hunting trips, and hunting moose with his friends. Together they shared good-times and lasting memories. In his later years, Denis was a skilled deer hunter and his favorite day of the year, was the opening day of hunting season.
Above all, Denis was most proud of his daughter Angelle. He was her biggest supporter in all she accomplished.
Denis leaves behind his wife, Rena, Daughter, Angelle, and many family members and friends.
