Denise Ann (Bosley) Adams, 61 of Torrington, was welcomed into the Kingdom of Heaven on February 9, 2019 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born May 26, 1957 to the late Joseph and Irma (Diulio) Bosley in Torrington, CT. Denise worked for the state of Connecticut with the Department of Developmental Services prior to retirement.
She is survived by her husband Gerard J. Adams, as well as her two sons Justin Adams (Amanda) and Eric Adams (Kaitlin) both of Torrington, daughter Danielle Mastrocola (Zachary) of Goshen and two step-daughters Candy Maccione(James) and Heather Tibbetts(Brian) both of Torrington. She also leaves behind 12 grandchildren and 3 great- grandchildren whom she loved dearly as well as many cousins and close friends.
Denise was a very faithful and devoted born again Christian. She put God first in all she did. She attended Full Gospel Lighthouse Church in Torrington, CT. Denise loved spending time with her family, summer afternoons on her front porch, trips to the ocean and time with her dogs. She was extremely proud of her family and leaves behind lots of beautiful memories.
Her family would like to thank Dr. Debra Brandt and her team at Smilow Cancer Center for the many years of care provided to Denise and Foothills VNA hospice team for the wonderful care and compassion given to her. They would also like to extend great appreciation to the staff at the Law offices of Conti, Levi and Salerno in Torrington for their generosity and continued support. A special thank you to Reverend Daniel Bossidy and her entire church family for all their love, thoughts and prayers.
A Celebration of Denise’s Life will be held on Saturday February 16, 2019, 10a.m. at Northwest Hills Community Church, 342 Prospect Street, Torrington, CT.
