Dennis D. Lockwood Jr., of New Haven, passed away quietly in his home.
Born on July 27, 1965, in Middletown, CT, Dennis dearly missed his mother, who surely was waiting to welcome him to the next life. He will be remembered for the beautiful pieces of art he created and shared with his family and friends, as well as his love of animals, plants, dragonflies, and butterflies.
He was predeceased by his mother Vada E. (Kim) Vachon, his father Dennis D. Lockwood Sr., his stepfather Wilfred Vachon, and his stepmother Dawn (Hyatt) Lockwood.
Left behind is his sister, Nanci-Lyn Lockwood of Clinton, CT, as well as many extended family members and friends.
Arrangements are private. A memorial service will be held later. Instead of flowers, please consider a contribution in Dennis’ name to The Trevor Project at give.thetrevorproject.org
"May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind always be at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, and rains fall soft upon your fields. And until we meet again, May God hold you in the palm of His hand.”
Farewell my friend, until we meet again.
My deepest condolences to the family.
