Dolores Elaine (Fink) Middleton, 94, of Madison CT., passed away peacefully surrounded by family, on September 15th 2023. She was born on January 11th, 1929. She was raised in Bethlehem, PA. and graduated from Liberty High School in 1947, but called many places home over the years. Dolores was the daughter of the late Walter W. Fink and Marguerite (Repsher) Fink. A vibrant woman who loved being surrounded by family, those close to her knew her as one who was always willing to lend an ear and share her long earned wisdom or her quick wit, which ever was needed at the time. She always enjoyed singing and shared her beautiful voice in many church choirs and community events over the years, as well as countless family celebrations. She had a strong faith in the Lord and was always thankful for her many blessings. She loved playing cards, playing up until a week before her death, earning the title of the “card shark” at the nursing home. She will be remembered fondly as a loving Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and friend.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, William T. Middleton Jr.; two of her brothers, Carlton W. Fink and wife Hulda; Richard A. Fink and his wife Grace; her sister Nancy Koehler and her husband Robert A. Koehler Sr.; her brother-in-law, Donald R. Evans and her daughter-in-law, Linda L. Middleton.
She will be dearly missed by her brother Ned C. Fink, wife Marjorie; her sister-in-law Nancy Evans; her four children; Sharon A. Middleton; Debra L. Brady, husband Daniel; Thomas A. Middleton, wife Bonnie; David W. Middleton, wife Donna; seven grandchildren, Melissa Diaz, husband Keith; Stacie O'Brien, husband Jefferey; David James Middleton, wife Emily; Brenna Brady, partner Scott Glover; Alex Middleton; Cameron Middleton, partner Molly Breazeale; and Troy Middleton; five great grandchildren, Emma and Noah Diaz; Carter and Grayson O'Brien and Giavanna Middleton; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
