Donald Cobb, age 65, of Chester, Connecticut, passed away unexpectedly on December 20, 2025, in Chester.
Donald was born on July 29, 1960, in Cortland, New York, to Robert Cobb and Jean (Gammond) Cobb. He was a graduate of Old Saybrook High School and went on to build a long and dedicated career at Pratt & Whitney.
Don cherished time spent with family and took great joy in the wildlife surrounding his home. He touched many lives with his kindness, compassion, and intellect. Known for his wonderful sense of humor, he especially delighted in the antics of the Three Stooges and the timeless charm of Charlie Brown & Company.
Donald is survived by his loving partner, Joanne Matott; his mother, Jean Cobb; his siblings, Roberta Adams (Peter), Debra Skaar (Ralph), Gary Cobb (Teresa), Douglas Cobb, and Brian Cobb; as well as many nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Cobb, and his brother, Richard Cobb.
A private memorial service will be held in the spring.
