On Monday, November 22nd, 2021, Doreen Pali Antonelli loving mother of three children and six grandchildren passed away at the age of 75.
Born April 4, 1946 in New Britain, Connecticut Doreen lived a full life raising a family, working, and creating wonderful family memories. She worked at Quality Coils, Inc. in Bristol, Connecticut for many years. Doreen loved camping, dancing, singing and most importantly spending time with her family. Her house was the place to be for picnics and family gatherings. She loved playing games on her iPad especially Words with Friends up to the final week of her life. Doreen is survived by her children: Paula Murphy (Husband: Timothy), Cheryl Coe and Steven Antonelli as well as her grandchildren TJ, Ryan, and McKayla Murphy; and Caitlyn, Christopher and Cameron Ruggiero. She also leaves behind brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends from over the years. She will be greatly missed.
According to her wishes, there will be no calling hours. She will be remembered at a memorial service at 10:00 on Thursday, December 2, at St. Dominics Church 1050 Flanders Road, Southington, CT 06489. Doreen’s ashes will be buried at Oak Hill Cemetery, 95 Flanders Street at the intersection of Queen Street and Flanders Street in Southington immediately following the service. A reception will follow at the home of the Nadwairski Family 36 Alex Court in Plantsville, CT.
The family asks that any donations in Doreen’s name be given to Connecticut Hospice in Branford, Connecticut.
Doreen’s children would also like to extend our deepest appreciation to all staff that cared for our Mother at Connecticut Hospice. We cannot express enough gratitude for their incredible skill, thoughtfulness, guidance, and compassion they showed not only to our mother but to the family.
