Doris M. Bonino, 98, passed away peacefully on May 25, 2025, surrounded by family. Known for her sassy wit, warm heart, and a good arm slap, Doris was a beloved mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and friend.

Born in Fall River, Massachusetts and later settling in Manchester, Connecticut, Doris lived a full and vibrant life. She was the widow of Peter Bonino and daughter of Euclide and Orise (Dussault) Duquette. She is survived by her one and only “beloved son” and daughter in law, Robert and Laurie Bonino of Manchester, a sister Yvonne Nadeau of Florida, and two grandchildren Sarah and Michael Bonino. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews, one of whom she shared a special relationship with, filled with shopping and lunch trips, Karen Erickson.

She loved reading, caring for her plants, and most of all spending time with her family and friends. Affectionately known as “Mémère,” she lit up every room and party with her smile, laughter, stories of going dancing, and deep love she had for those around her. Doris was the heart of every gathering, always ready with a joke, an old story, or a margarita in hand and up for a game of beer pong with her grandkids. She instilled strong values of faith and left a lasting impact on everyone she met.

Doris, “Mémère”, will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her family and all who knew her. Share a laugh and raise a glass in celebration of her journey “home”!

In lieu of funeral services, there will be a mass and celebration of life gathering held at a future date.
