Edmund Mercuriano, Jr. 73, passed away peacefully on February 17, 2020 at CT Hospice of Branford.
Beloved father of Mindy (Matthew) Canalori of Branford and Edmund J. (Luisa Liuzzi) Mercuriano of Northford. Loving grandfather to Christian and Melina Canalori and Giada and Edmund J. Mercuriano, Jr (EJ). Brother of Martha Adinolfi and the late Michael E. Mercuriano, Sr. (Marie) of New Haven.
Edmund was born in New Haven on August 21, 1946, son of the late Edmund and Edna Kelley Mercuriano, Sr. He also leaves behind his former wife Patricia Rossi, his most loved pet, a cockatoo named Boomer and many nieces and nephews. Prior to his retirement he was a Hair Stylist. Edmund owned Fantasia Hair Fashions in North Haven and East Haven. He also managed a few local hair salons then started Visiting Hair Care to provide services to clients in the hospital and nursing homes. His passion was to spend time with his family, all his animals and taking care of his plants.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a 10:00 Memorial Mass on Monday, February 24th at St. Augustine Church, 30 Caputo Road, North Branford. Interment will immediately follow at All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to CT Hospice of Branford.
