Edward A. Fisher 1955-2021

Edward A. Fisher of Trumbull, CT 11/30/55-01/13/21


Edward was a lifelong resident of CT who spent the last several years as a dedicated and well-loved sexton of Trinity Episcopal Church in Trumbull, CT. He took great pride in his work there and spent a lot of time transforming it’s spaces into a warm and welcoming place for its many parishioners. He spent many hours dedicated to feeding the hungry as a volunteer for several local soup kitchens. He was a wonderful cook and worked diligently to make sure none went hungry. He also had a great love of horses and spent much of his life as a member of the CT Governor’s Horse Guard.


Edward is survived by his daughter Jennifer Fisher of Butler, PA, his sons Edward J. Fisher of Coventry, CT, Nicholas Fisher of Meriden, CT, and his step-daughter Rose Keeler of Meriden, CT;


his siblings Timothy Fisher of Plaistow, NH and Sandra Fisher of Norwalk, CT; his three grand-children Amber Berenguel of Seattle, WA, Alex Fisher of Coventry, CT and Alyssa Fisher of Coventry, CT; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, and a large extended family.


In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Edward’s name to Trinity Episcopal Church in Trumbull, CT or Our Lady of Sorrows in Orange, CT.


A church service will be held in his honor on Saturday, January 23rd at noon at Trinity Episcopal Church in Trumbull.
