Elizabeth Matthews

Elizabeth Matthews was called home to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on November 11^th, 2025 at the age of 101. 

Born on Oct 13, 1924 in New Bedford, Massachusetts, she grew up in White Plains, NY, the daughter of Joseph and Anna Perdigao. 

She was predeceased by her parents, husband Don Matthews, brother Daniel Perdigao, and grandson Kurt Marks. 

She is survived by sister Gloria Shepherd, children Alyce Marks and Don Matthews, grandchildren Heidi (Jeff) Knapp, Eric Marks; Kara (Mike) Meiners, Kristen Marks, Gregg (Eliza) Matthews, Joshua Matthews, Beau (Maria) Matthews, great grandchildren Alexandra Marks, Joshua, Erik and Anya Knapp, Luke, Bennett and Brooklyn Meiners, Maisie, Zade, Victoria, Vita and Isla Matthews and great great granddaughter Eleanore Marks, as well as many cherished friends, many from the Marvin, who enriched her long life. 

The service will be held Friday November 21^st at 11am at the Community Baptist Church, 105 East Avenue, Norwalk, CT, 06851.
