Ellinor Frances “Penny” (Torrenti) Livernoche 83, of Clinton passed away June 30th at Middlesex hospital surrounded by loved ones.
Born in New York city on April 14, 1941, the daughter of Thomas and Ellinor Torrenti, she was the eldest of three children.
Known affectionately as “Penny”, she was a 1959 graduate of the Morgan school in Clinton. She grew up in Westbrook on Grove beach and loved the beach and water.
Penny was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother who love cooking, and baking for family, and friends, she was also a talented seamstress. She loved children, and animals.
Penny is predeceased by her loving husband of 40 years Henry Joseph Livernoche as well as her stepdaughter Renee Livernoche.
Penny is survived by a brother Thomas Torrenti, sister Lane (Steve) Hanford, her son James Scott (Charlene) Haag, daughter Sheila (Allen) Berman, stepdaughter Sharon (John) Murphy, and stepson Joseph (Diane) Livernoche. Grandchildren Shannon (David) Perrotti, Alyssa (Timothy) Pitkin, Daniel (Tabitha) Livernoche, Michael (Corey) Livernoche, Jennifer (Jeffrey) Irwin, Jessica (Iyler) Kirsch, and Todd Green. Nieces, and nephews, and 12 great grandchildren.
Special thanks to friends Newt, and Mary Field for many years of friendship, and support. Also, to the ICU staff at Middlesex Hospital.
A private celebration of life is planned for a later date.
