Elsa Torres Perez

Elsa Torres Perez, 74 of Naugatuck CT , passed away peacefully on Monday, July 27, 2026, after months of recovering from an injury sustained by a debilitating stroke.

Born August 31, 1951 in New York, NY,  Elsa was predeceased by her mother, Maria Isabel Negron Torres of Naugatuck and her father Angel Torres of Puerto Rico. She is survived by her sons, Daniel Perez and Victor Perez daughter in law Shannon Perez and five granddaughters and two grandsons whom she adored greatly. A brother Angelo Torres of Naugatuck, two nieces, a nephew, two great nephews, one great niece, a great-great niece and many cousins. Elsa dedicated her life to helping others, providing comfort and friendship. She was a caring and compassionate mother, grandmother and aunt. She will be sadly missed by all.

There will be a funeral mass held for her on Wednesday, August 19th at 10:00 am at Church of the Good Shepherd located at 135 Mountain Road in Seymour and a private ceremony following for her family. Elsa will be greatly missed.
