Eluid Rivera age 60 of Winsted, CT born in December 1962 passed away on February 19, 2023. He is predeceased by his father Eladio Rivera and survived by his mother Aida Luz Perez. He was the beloved husband of Wanda Enid Rivera and father to daughters, Eileen Lopez, Kristy Rivera, Tiffany Rivera, Erica Rivera, Alisha Rivera, Jasmine Valentin and Taisha Vega and 2 sons Alex Pabon and Daniel Rivera.
He is also survived by his brothers Eladio Rivera, David Rivera, Jimmy Lopez, Miguel Rosario, Manuel Rosario, and his sisters, Adelaida Rosario, Ruth Rivera, Raquel Rosario, Grisel Rivera, Sofia Rivera, Nadine Rivera, and Christina Rivera Smith. He was also a proud grandfather to 18 grandchildren and great grandfather to 5 great grandchildren.
Eluid's love for roosters, playing the guitar especially alongside his brothers, a challenge in a game of chess and his generous heart made him special to many and will always be cherished memories.
These have been the hardest 2 weeks of our lives. Eliud was a great man. Loved by many especially his wife Wanda, mom Aida his children, brothers & sisters. He will be forever missed but never forgotten.
My dear dad. You came into my life when I was 7 and changed everything! You were so gracious, caring, funny, and most importantly for me- you were there! It was such a comfort knowing that I had a man in my life who cared about me enough to call me daughter. That meant so much to me. You will forever be in my heart as a good provider and protector who was fearless. You will forever be in my heart as my one and only —Father. Can’t wait to see you again!!! Love you FOREVER!!!
