Eugene Andrew Coderre Sr

Eugene Andrew Coderre Sr "Andy", passed away peacefully on Saturday February 7th 2026, after an intense battle with cancer. Born September 16, 1947 in Hartford CT to the late Philip and Jeanne (Martel) Coderre, he grew up in Southington and was a resident of Waterbury when he passed. He is a graduate of Wilcox Tech in Meriden, and went on to become a proud Marine who was wounded during combat in the Vietnam War earning him a purple heart.

Andy was a tool & die maker who loved his dog Harley, fishing, the Boston Red Sox, UCONN basketball, watching channel 3 WFSB, and of course his beloved NY Giants. Andy is survived by his sisters Muriel Coderre of FL, and Rachel Wilson and her husband Tom of SC. He is also survived by his loving daughter Melanie Nichparenko and her husband Don, and two grandsons Zackery and Ryon Nichparenko of Bristol; and his son Eugene "Andy" Coderre Jr of Berlin. He was predeceased by his brother Phil Coderre of AZ.
