Everett William Reaviel Jr., 68, of Willington, Connecticut, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones.
Born on January 19, 1958, in Manchester, Connecticut, Everett was the son of Pauline Getchel Reaviel and Everett W. Reaviel Sr.
Everett spent his childhood growing up on Ashford Lake and graduated from Windham Technical High School. After working a variety of jobs, he found his true calling as a lineman, dedicating many years of service to CL&P, Eversource, and various electrical contractors. He was a proud member of IBEW Locals 42 and 457.
While Everett took great pride in his career, his greatest passion was his farm, where he raised Angus beef cattle. He had a lifelong love of animals and over the years cared for horses, ponies, goats, and many beloved dogs, each of which held a special place in his heart.
Everett will be deeply missed by his family and many friends. He is survived by his brother, Terrence Reaviel and his wife, Inge, of Alabama; his daughter, Kathleen Reaviel of Manchester; his stepdaughters, Sarah Foti and Sandra Foti and her husband, Michael Foti, of Florida; his life partner, Cindy; her sons, Stanley Lukaszewicz and his wife, Christa, of Farmington, and Michael Lukaszewicz and his wife, Agnieszka, of Farmington; and his grandchildren, Julianna, Brayden, Bella, Avianna, June, Audrey, Scarlett, Fletcher, Winsor, Emersyn, Calvin, Milena, Asyeria, and Aaliyah.
He was predeceased by his parents; his daughter, Marie Reaviel; his sisters, Dawna LeBrie and Sandra A. Fletcher; and his brother, Adelbert F. Reaviel.
In accordance with Everett's wishes, services will be held privately. A Memorial Gathering will be announced at a later date, when family and friends can come together to share memories and honor the life of a man who will be greatly missed.
