Fortunata "Faith" Longobardi, age 74 of New Haven, passed away on September 1, 2022, at Connecticut Hospice a valiantly fought battle. She was born on December 27, 1947, to the late Domonic DiDomonic & Carmel "Stella" DeCato DiDomonic. She was the wife of the late John Longobardi, Jr. Faith is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Rascati & Janis Longobardi, Both of New Haven and one sister, Susan (John) Gontarek of East Haven. She is also survived by five grandchildren Jessica, Nicholas, Christopher, Andrew & Lexi Rascati and four great grandchildren. All of her grandchildren were her pride & joy whom she loved dearly. Faith was a machine operator at Marlin Firearms for the majority of her career. In early retirement she enjoyed working as the front desk manager at The Madison Beach Hotel. Faith was a self-taught, avid crafter... Knitting, crocheting, sewing, embroidery, jewelry beading to name a few. There was nothing she wouldn't try her hand at & excel. She also loved baking & Christmas cookies were her specialty. She was proud of her cookie trays every year & loved sharing them with family. At Faith's request no services will be held.
