Francis Louise Larson, 82, passed away peacefully at Hartford Hospital on December 20, 2024. Born on April 6, 1942, in Seminole County, FL to George Baxter McMahan and Bessie Estelle Moore McMahan. Louise moved to Hartford, CT where she met and married Karl G. Larson in 1969. She worked for Aetna and retired from the Rare Reminder newspaper. A longtime resident of Rocky Hill, CT, Louise was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Louise enjoyed the outdoors, feeding and watching the birds, and most of all spending time with her family. Louise is survived by her grandsons, Austin J. Larson and Cody K. Larson, daughter in-law, Gretal A. Larson, granddaughter, Natalie R. Cacavollia, sister, Nina Lee, nephew, Wayne (Lisa) Johnson, nieces, Rebecca (Ken) Thomas, Sandra (Pat) Hampton and several great nephews and nieces. Louise is predeceased by her husband Karl G. Larson, son Gregory K. Larson, sisters Jeanette M. Shriver, Ruth L. Johnson, Marian E. Swanger, and brothers George B. McMahan Jr and Rufus McMahan. Interment will be private.
