Frederick Albert Nichols Sr, age 81, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 6, 2021 at Ludlowe Center for Health and Rehabilitation.
He was born August 1, 1940, the son of Elton and Pearl (Wilson) Nichols. He grew up in Shelton but was a long time resident of Oxford. He was a carpenter by trade until he retired. He enjoyed working in his yard, riding his 1961 Harley Davidson and playing cards with family and friends.
He is survived by his daughter, Betty Pineau and his grandsons, Daniel and Gabriel Pineau all of Oxford. He is the brother of Shirley Garcia and leaves several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his wife, Betty Nichols and his son Frederick Nichols, Jr. He is also predeceased by his sisters Evelyn Lydem, Edith Morgan, Mary Nichols and his brother, Richard Nichols.
A private memorial service will be determined at a future date.
