George J. Holdefehr Jr.

George J. Holdefehr Jr., 83, passed away peacefully on December 12, 2025. Born on March 30, 1942, in White Plains, New York, George grew up in the Silver Lake section of West Harrison before later making his home in the Town of Harrison.

A proud veteran, George served as a Military Police officer before spending his professional career as a plumbing and heating contractor, a trade he practiced with dedication and skill.

George was the beloved son of George Holdefehr Sr. and Anna Holdefehr (née White). He was a devoted father to his loving sons, George and Mark. He now reunites with his cherished siblings, Robert “Bobby” and Victoria “Tiny,” and is survived by his brother John and his adored grandchildren, Bianca, Christopher, Aiden, and Theia.

George will be remembered as a loving grandfather, a caring son and brother, and a loyal friend to many.
