Gerard J. Blair Jr., known affectionately as Joey, passed away on November 29, 2024, at The Hospital of Central Connecticut in New Britain at the age of 48. Born on March 3, 1976, Joey dedicated over two decades of his life to his career as a delivery driver, ensuring the timely dispatch and delivery to community members and businesses.
Joey was a member of St. Matthew Church in Forestville. His hobbies included music, snowboarding, drawing, watching movies, and cherishing the moments spent on day trips or family vacations, which brought immense joy to him and his loved ones.
He is survived by a loving family that includes his mother, Gail Cote; father, Gerard Blair Sr.; sister, Melissa Hebenstreit and her husband, Adam Hebenstreit; niece, Samantha Baran; nephew, Alexander Hebenstreit; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Joey was preceded in death by relatives Laurette Deschenes, Joseph O Cote, Conrad and Annette Blair.
